Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. We were back at Catalina today. The sea lions were a nuisance this morning, so we did a little running around to get away from them. We found some biting calico, bonito, barracuda, whitefish, sheephead, blue perch, and trigger fish. All that stuff seems to be plentiful for those who want to fish it. Despite the sea lions, we still managed to put a day together with all the island species. Andrew has the latest fish report for you below.

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. The Toronado with 18 anglers on an Overnight trip caught 1 yellowtail, 39 calico bass, 3 barracuda, 71 whitefish, 8 sheephead, and 25 rockfish.

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Morning guys, checking in from our charter, started off on the yellowtail grounds and picked up 1 nicer yellow, almost 30 lbs, and picking away at the calicos, whitefish, and sheephead for the guys. Beautiful weather at the island, see what else we can find. Got some time left, looking up the island to try to catch a few more fish for these guys. Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. We enjoyed some beautiful weather with lots of fun and a light load. The big bonito were biting at the first stop of the day, between 6-7 pounds. We caught limits of big bonito, and there were a bunch of medium-sized ones that we threw back. We also caught a couple handfuls of big barracuda, and lots of calico bass. We threw back lots of shorts, but there was plenty of fast and furious action everywhere we went. There were also plenty of sheephead and whitefish for those fishing the bottom.

We are back out tomorrow, heading to Catalina with a light load! Make a reservation and come on out!

Randy checked in for Pierpoint Landing. We have the city of Long Beach going for sure with a super light load. Last time I looked on there, there were six reservations.

We have the Enterprise going for sure tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. We should be keeping our eyes out for a report from them from today's trip. They only had 10 anglers, nice light load this morning on the Enterprise. And I believe they're heading over to the island to check out and see what they can find on the Yellowtail, Bonita, Bass, Barracuda Department. Keep an eye out for that report later. Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. We fished the kelp along the coast. We caught some bonito, calico bass, and had some action on the smaller barracuda. We then did some rock cod fishing, and came back in the afternoon and fished the kelp again to catch more calico bass. We'll continue to fish the surface as much as we can, then slide into our fall fishing as the coastline starts to slow down. Andrew has the latest fish report for you below.

We have a charter with us today, and they didn't want to deal with the weather that picked up on the tuna grounds, so we stayed at the island picking away at the calico bass, nice whitefish, and sheephead. We also just picked up a yellowtail, and we hooked another one. We're starting to get some yellowtail action, and we have plenty of daylight still to fish. We'll check back later on. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Hey, guys, just give you an update. Tornado came in from their trip this morning. Pretty good fishing, a lot of sign, a lot of fish, typical bluefin. And there were 27 mixed fish, some big guys, most in the medium-sized fish. Decent weather, and they're right back out tonight.

Today we had a small rent rod charter group, and after filling the bags with sculpin, whitefish, and snappers, we spent the afternoon catching calico bass, barracuda, and bonito, which made for a well-rounded day. Our 22 anglers on a 3/4-Day caught 100 bonito, 73 calico bass, 13 barracuda, and 14 sheephead.

We are coming home with limits of calico bass, limits of bonito, a few barracuda, and a few handfuls of sheephead. Our 22 anglers caught 110 calico bass, 110 bonito, 3 barracuda, 14 sheephead, and 1 mako.

Light load, good weather, fishing the rockfish, calico bass, barracuda, sculpin. Bring your gear, be ready for everything, but they're going for sure at 10 o'clock and then going for the rest of the week.

Ryan checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Good fishing on the surface and the bottom. Picked away at the sculpin and whitefish to start off the morning. Finished up the second half of the trip fishing for bass, barracudas, bonito, stuff like that. Pretty good bass fishing. Lots of action. Probably about 30 to 35 keeper bass in the mix, but all the throwbacks that you wanted there. Handful of barracuda, and some benita to go along with it, too. So all in all, still summertime fishing, good fishing, and warm weather. Weather was actually really, really nice today. Ryan has the current fish report for you below.

Our 30 anglers caught limits of sculpin, 55 whitefish, 8 calico bass, 5 bonito, and some short barracuda and stuff. We had decent fishing overall even though it got a little windy in the afternoon. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Checking in from our 2-day trip, we concentrated on the offshore cricut, fished the entire day, and evening, Bluefin tuna and the calico part, we have 50+ on the bluefin tuna. Pretty good plunk first thing in the morning, and then slower mid day thing, and then got another evening bite a little after dark. A couple handfuls of fish there for the trip.
