Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. A little bit tougher fishing today. Even though it was a windier, slower day, we still managed to put together a decent count. It just wasn't wide open like everybody's been used to. We kinda had to work for our bass. We still managed to go home with 185 sculpin, 43 sand bass, 17 sheephead, 45 whitefish, and 30 or so miscellaneous rockfish. Pretty good fishing down at the bottom but tougher on the bass. Hopefully we get a little bit better weather in the upcoming days. Beat the heat and come fishing! Bobby has your tackle recommendation and the current fish report for you below.

Joe checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We ended up getting 17 or 18 of the big mean bluefin tuna and we got our butts kicked yesterday. There were a lot of casualties but the guys did their best, it's tough to land these fish on lighter line. We even got a couple on the poppers which was really coo.
