Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. A little bit windy, a little bit windy today, but we did okay. Our group of 40 anglers, we caught limits of sculpin, 36 red snapper, 65 whitefish and one sheephead with a few miscellaneous rockfish to go with that, so not too bad of a day. The sculpin fishing was pretty good there for us, people using 8 to 10 ounces with a couple half ounce lead heads and plastics had their limits pretty quick, but after that it was kind of a slow pick, had to jump around a bunch of spots until we found one that sort of wanted a bite, but a little bit rougher on the bottom fish for us after the sculpin, so was hoping it was a little better, but still not too bad, got some fish in the bag there, everybody went home happy. We're running tomorrow, we got I think 15 or 16 reservations, so we are running for sure tomorrow if you guys want to come out with us on Memorial Day, after that I think we're running Wednesday through Sunday, still 10am to 4pm, kids fish free with the paid adults, so take advantage of that there, so make a reservation guys, come on out fishing, have a nice day.

Ryan checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a 10 to 4 trip today, Wednesday. Good fishing, still fishing on the bottom there, waiting for something on the surface to pop up. Until then, we caught what we needed on the sculpin, and then we moved on and caught pretty close to what limits on the whitefish and a lot of other miscellaneous bottom grabbers, some sheephead, red snappers, and other random types of rockfish. So all in all, good day of fishing. Everybody was happy and hoping that something by way of surface will happen here shortly. Water continues to start warming up, so we'll see what happens here. We're going to be trying to head out every day the rest of the week here. Ryan has the current fish report for you below.

Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Pretty good fishing today. Wasn't anything excellent, but it was decent enough. Decent fishing for our group of 20 here. We had limits of sculpin, 32 red snapper, 40 or 50 rockfish, 2 sheephead, and about 50 or 60 whitefish there for our group today. So a little bit of variety for our group on the bottom there. A lot of the fish we started with were all caught on the plastic, led head and plastic there, 8 to 10 ounce weight. And we fished in, I don't know, 200, 240 feet of water for some rockfish, reds, whitefish, and stuff like that. So not too bad of a day overall.

Make sure you make a reservation at Pierpoint.net. We're running Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's kids fish-free with a aid adult there. So take advantage of that. Come on out, catch some fish.  The City of Long Beach's next trip is a 1/2 Day departing Wed May 20 at 10:00 AM.

Randy checked in for Pierpoint Landing. This week, weekend, we have a few trips going for sure, just wanted to let you guys know. Tomorrow, the Enterprise is on a private charter, The City of Long Beach is going for sure. We've got 15 reservations. That one's going for sure at 10 a.m. Six-hour trip coming back at 4 p.m. Then we have the Tornado going for sure at 9 o'clock tomorrow night. That one has six spots left. If you guys want, you can hurry up and grab one of those. The Enterprise, Saturday, has 11 reservations. They're going for sure with a nice light load. Also, Saturday, the City of Long Beach is also going for sure at 10 a.m. That one is at 24 reservations as of now. I assume we'll get around 30. The Tornado is also going for sure Saturday night, May 16th at 8 o'clock. That one's just the standard overnight. If you guys are interested in any of these trips. Have a good weekend.
