We spent our morning fishing up against the island for yellowtail, barracuda, and bass until the sea lions took over and in the afternoon we filled the sacks with reds and other miscellaneous rockfish whitefish, and sheepshead.

We decided to split the trip up today and do both surface and bottom stuff. Good chances again today on the bluefin getting just a few bites out of it so we ran into the island and caught a bunch of rockfish, whitefish, sheepshead, etc.

Pretty good chances on the bluefin today and managed to hook some but unfortunately, they got away. Fished the island for a bit and am still slow on the surface stuff with no shortage of sea lions. Plenty of sheepshead and whitefish for those who wanted them. We will check back tomorrow.
