Some more nice rockfish today in the deep water before we headed into the shallows for a bunch of whitefish, sculpin, and other bottom-fish. We are looking forward to doing some surface fishing soon as the water temp is rising.

Today we enjoyed some nice rockfish fishing in the deeper water and for the afternoon we managed a few nice bonito, calico bass, whitefish, and sheepshead. No shortage of bonito around if you can hide from the sea lions.

Slow morning with no sign of yellows or sea bass, so they moved into the deeper waters and loaded up on rock cod, nice-sized lings, reds, and more. We started our day in the deep water for some nice reds, grouper, and assorted rockfish before the weather got us so we spent the rest of the trip in the shallows catching lots of whitefish rockfish sheepshead, etc.
