Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Not too bad of a day. We stayed shallow the whole entire trip with the new regulations. We had 315 whitefish, 27 sheephead, 4 sand bass, and 16 sculpin for our group of 45. Pretty good bottom fishing overall. Bobby has your tackle recommendation and current fish report for you below.

Ryan checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a lot of people on the boat but managed to make it work despite the new regulations. Andy checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a really nice day of fishing. Started out with rockfishing, then we moved down and out to find the bluefin tuna. We had a 2-hour drift on the bluefin. We hooked 26 fish and landed 6. There was a lot of heartbreak and long battles. We went looking for some kelps and found out some bluefin tuna biting there. It was closer to home and we ended up with about a dozen bluefin, 30-40 lbs. And 1 open water dorado mixed in there too. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Checking in here for our 1-day charter group trip, and they wanted to fish offshore. We went the distance and did the best we could with the time allotted here. We had a stop for 21 yellowfin tuna, up to about 35 lbs.
