Limits of sculpin and pretty much limits of the red snapper, and a lot of other miscellaneous rockfish and whitefish to go along with it. We also had some standout sheephead. Bobby checking in for The City Of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Pretty good fishing today, really nice weather. We had 12 people today. We had 45 or so rockfish, 24 red snapper, 60 sculpin, 45 or so whitefish, 3 sand bass, and a bunch of sand dabs and other stuff. Really good bottom fishing for our group today. We drifted around and got some really nice size reds and nice size sculpin to top off the bags. Bobby has the latest fish report for you below.

Dealt with a big swell and a lot of seasick people, but still, we were very close to limits of rockfish and did fairly decent with the whitefish and other critters to go with it. Fairly good fishing just a lot of casualties because there were a lot of seasick people and newtimers, but other than that the fishing was very good. It would have been a lot better if we had more people standing on the deck, but we made a day of it and got pretty much what we needed from it. The weather is supposed to be windy this afternoon and then stop around 2 am and absolutely beautiful for Saturday and Sunday! KIDS FISH FREE! Our fish count for 27 anglers was 105 grouper, 125 miscellaneous rockfish, 36 red snapper, 120 sculpin, and about 40-50 whitefish there too. Pretty good fishing overall today for our group. Really really good grouper fishing on the sardine. The fish were anywhere from 2-5 pounds. The jackpot was like a 6 or 7 pounder. Most of our bigger fish were on the live bait. Really really good fishing and really nice weather as well. Bobby has the current fish report and tackle recommendations for you below.
