Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We ended up catching our sculpin, then came back inside and did our thing. There were lots of barracuda jumping around for those that could cast a jig or flyline a sardine. We got pretty close to limits of, a couple handfuls of barracuda, and a couple handfuls of better quality calico bass. Hopefully things keep going the way they're going. All the bottom fish we needed with beautiful weather. In a season of ups and downs, today we had promising signs of good fishing to come.

We wrapped up our day with 31 anglers and caught 1 Lingcod, 62 Red Snapper (limits), 155 sculpin (limits), and 18 whitefish! Bobby has the latest fish report for you below.

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We wrapped up our 2-day report. Overall we covered a lot of area and it was really hard to find a bluefin. they didn't really bite that well in the daytime, but at nighttime we had a couple good whacks. We ended up with 6 bluefin, most of them were 100-150 pounds, some yellowtail, some bass, and some rockfish. Ray has the current fish report for you below.

We started with sculpin for our 29 anglers and ended up with limits of sculpin, 3 sand bass, 1 calico bass, and 2 shephead. Not too bad of a day there with sculpin up to 2.5 pounds. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Checking in from our 2-day trip, on the first day we looked far and wide, and saw good signs of tuna. Got them to bite late in the afternoon and into the dark and ended up with 5 bluefin tuna, anywhere from 80 to 150 lbs. And a sample of the yellowtail, we have a handful of the yellows so far. Trying to go offshore this afternoon to give it one more look so we'll give you a final report later in the evening. Ray has the current fish report for you below.

Ryan checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Not a bad day at all. We ended our day with fairly decent bass fishing, a lot more shorts than legals. It's the craziest thing on earth, there are so many of them. We ended up with a little better than 50 legals, then ventured off to fill the bags and ended up with limits of sculpin. The Enterprise will be looking for those Tuna next couple days will be fishing the islands and then Monday and Tuesday strictly targeting Tuna. You want to being some heavier gear, and the boat leaves at 6 o clock. Real light load tomorrow and heavier load over the weekend. Still plenty of room. And the city of Long Beach will still be going everyday for 1/2-day fishing for rockfish, barracuda, and all that. Remember KIDS FISH FREE WEEKDAYS! See you soon!
