Andy checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Today we had a light load of just 17 anglers and enjoyed a nice day despite the wind. Very good bass fishing this afternoon with big barracuda, sheephead, whitefish, and other assorted bottom critters as well. 
We are going again tomorrow departing at 6am!

Toronado Good Bluefin Tuna ad More, Ray is Live

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. The weather was up but they made it work putting on 91 bluefin tuna up to around 55 pounds. They also had some bonito and bottom grabbers to add to the catch. Ray has the latest fish report for you below.

Andy checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Back at the island today with beautiful weather and lots of boats enjoying the holiday weekend. Barracuda, bass, and bonito for those who fished the flyline baits; and sheephead, whitefish, and perch for the sinkers. In our travels today we encountered a large foamer of 40-100 pound tuna. Looking forward to next week with light loads and less traffic.

City of Long Beach Wrap Up Fish Report

Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. The City of Long Beach with 41 anglers on a 1/2-Day AM caught 145 sculpin, 53 red snapper, 45 whitefish, 35 rockfish, 2 sheephead, and 1 sand bass.

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We're in the middle of a 2-Day trip fishing offshore targeting the bluefin. We managed to put together a decent trip. Right now we're at 50+ on the bluefin up to about 50-60 pounds. We're on the move now looking for more. We'll give you a final report tomorrow morning. Rick has the latest fish report for you below.

Enterprise Wrap Up Fish Report, Fun Island Day

Andy checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Today we had a rent rod charter that wanted to fish the island and also try for a marlin. It was a very busy island today, but we were able to capture yellowtail, bonito, bass, and bottom stuff. On the way home we found a hungry marlin that we got a few jumps out of before he won his freedom.
We are full for tomorrow but have lots of room for you next week!

Enterprise Wrap Up Fish Report, Quality Yellowtail and Bonito

Andy checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Looked at a different zone today and found a nice spot of 20-30 pound yellowtail that stuck with us for a half hour or so before the seals took over. We also had some 5-pound bonito, calico bass, and a bunch of bottom stuff. On our way home we stopped on some tuna with no bites. Please come prepared with an assortment of tackle as we transition into the fall.
